Empowerment of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Using the Waste Management Value Chains Workshop

The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities and Nkangala District Municipality brings you a Waste Management awareness-raising Workshop  on Friday, 13 May 2022  at Sydney Choma Community from 09h00 – 13h00.  Catch the Rise FM Lunch Show with Tlotlang, broadcasting live from the event.

The Workshop – aimed at encouraging women to pursue economic opportunities in previously male-dominated fields and increase their participation in environment sustainability (especially in the waste sector) – will be led by Minister Maite Nkoana- Mashabane and Executive Mayor, Leah Mabuza. Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities working or involved in the waste management sector and representatives from the green economy value chain are encouraged to attend.
