POSITION:                         Sales Manager  

REPORTING TO:             Station Manager

POSITION TYPE:             Permanent

LOCATION:                        Mbombela

 

Core Purpose of Job

RISE fm is seeking to attract an experienced and motivated individual for the role of Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively planning and implementing sales strategies, customer relationship management, and managing & directing the sales team.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet targets
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Previous management experience an advantage
  • Media industry experience an advantage

 

Personal Skills/Attributes

Skills and experience

  • Must have experience in a sales environment
  • Extremely strong people skills: able to negotiate at the highest level
  • Excellent Business and Presentations skills and the ability to put together excellent presentations
  • Must be able to put together strategic documents and analysis of the business against the competitors and in line with market trends
  • Must have a valid Code 08 drivers’ licence and own a vehicle

 

 Knowledge

 Matric certificate.

  • Computer literacy
  • Sales knowledge : the ability to close deals
