RISE fm after 67 Days of Lockdown
Life under lockdown has been a massive challenge for all in the province over the past 67 days and it’s been no different for us at RISE fm.
Happily we continued broadcasting throughout, with media being an essential service, and hats off to our intrepid programming department and on air team for keeping Mpumalanga entertained and informed throughout. Obviously safety protocols and procedures were important and changes made to in studio interviews etc. … but the shows went on, and the magic continued throughout.
Radio itself proved to be extremely resilient during the global pandemic and has indeed strengthened as a source of connection to communities and for effectively relaying reliable and trusted news and updates. A recent report from the National Association of Broadcasters indicates that radio listenership increased during this period with a 17% global growth and as much as 35% growth for South African Regional stations. We thank you for choosing RISE fm and staying with Mpumalanga’s Hottest Radio Station during the trying times!
Our Sales, Marketing and Creative departments went over and beyond the call of duty to look after our valued clients and their own challenges during the pandemic and they were continuously on hand to ensure that those that needed to get their COVID-19 messages effectively and efficiently across were assisted professionally at all times. They continue to be on hand now, as the economy rejuvenates, with many awesome specials available to help Mpumalanga businesses boost their re-entry back into business. If you have a business in the province in need of a cost effective solution to effectively announce that you’re “back in business” and to increase turnover – then feel free to contact them on firstname.lastname@example.org
We also recently received new independent listenership figures for RISE fm – and they have amazed us! The RISE fm family indeed proudly continues to increase positively and exponentially … we are blessed and grateful!
Even with Level 3 bringing the majority of industries and employees back into economic activity today – stressful times financially still await a lot of us. SO, we’re happy to report that RISE fm is currently putting the final touches to a super on air competition with plenty of cash prizes up for grabs, stay tuned for details!
We can’t wait to get on the road again and interact with everyone through Outside Broadcasts, Activations, Events etc … but a little patience is unfortunately still required for now, we do seriously miss meeting you though!
As many businesses (and bottle stores) re-open today we wish all our valued listeners and clients well … stay safe, and be kind to one another … Mpumalanga Azishe!
